MOP’s Lil Fame: Growing Up in Crack Era, Moving Drugs at 8, Shootouts

Rapper Fame of M.O.P. sat down for a recent interview with VladTV, where he spoke about his 80 pound weight loss, growing up in Brownsville, Brooklyn in the 1980s and 90s, and much more.

During the conversation Fame addressed the struggles he went through while growing up in Brooklyn, including not having enough food, no heating in the winter, and no hot water. He also briefly touched on the grief he went through of watching friends and his own brother die in the streets, but Fame cut things short as he explained that he doesn’t like to focus on tragedies.
